Ms. OppeNheimer graduated from The University of Hartford Art School, CT, cum laude, -with a double major in Art and English Literature- followed by teaching art for three years in the East Lyme, CT, Public School System. During that time, she attended Paier Art School, New Haven, CT, Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI, and Connecticut College, New London, CT, concentrating on illustration and sculpture. Since then, Ms. OppeNheimer has worked commercially as an art director for a greeting card company, an in-house and free lance illustrator for book publishers, magazines, newspapers, ad agencies, and greeting card companies. Ms. OppeNheimer currently works as a fine artist, exhibiting in galleries.
